Sony has finally revealed the name and form of its new motion controller for the PlayStation, the PlayStation Move

According to Sony, the Move has better motion tracking than the Wii. Oddly enough, each controller (both mainhand and offhand) count as a “controller” for the PS3’s 4 controller cap. This means that only two people will be able to play with both hands at a time. For a group of three or four, players will only be able to use the main hand controller.

The PS Move also requires the Playstation Eye. While the Wii uses infrared to detect the location of Wiimotes, the Playstation apparently uses the visible spectrum of light.

The colors, Duke, the colors. Apparently, the bulb at the end of the Move is not made of a colored material. Rather, it is sort of pearly and transparent. Three LEDs inside theoretically allow it to be any color in the spectrum, and it uses its connection with your Playstation’s Eye to tell which colors would be most vibrant and easy to “see” based on the color content of the room.

successor to the PlayStation 2 as part of the PlayStation series. The PlayStation 3 competes with Microsoft's Xbox

360 and Nintendo's Wii as part of the seventh generation of video game consoles.

major feature that distinguishes the PlayStation 3 from its predecessors is its unified online gaming service, the PlayStation Network,^[6] which contrasts with Sony's former policy of relying on video game developers for online play.^[7] Other major features of the console include its robust multimedia capabilities, connectivity with the PlayStation Portable,^[9] and its use of the Blu-ray Disc as its primary storage medium. The PS3 was also the first Blu-ray 2.0-compliant Blu-ray player on the market.

The PlayStation 3 was first released on November 11, 2006

in Japan, November 17, 2006 in North America, March 16, 2007 in the United Kingdom and Ireland and March 23, 2007 in mainland Europe and Oceania.^[14][15] Two stock-keeping units were available at launch: a basic model with a 20 GB hard disk drive and a premium model with a 60 GB hard drive and several additional features (the 20 GB model was not released in Europe or Oceania). Since then, several revisions have been made to the console's available models, most notably with the release of a new slim model in September 2009 to coincide with rebranding of the console and its logo.

Game controllers

Replacing the Sixaxis as the standard PlayStation 3 controller, the DualShock 3 (trademarked "DUALSHOCK 3") features the same functions and design including "Sixaxis" motion sensing, but with vibration feedback capability. First announced by Sony at its press conference at the 2007 Tokyo Game Show,^[15] the DualShock 3 was released on January 11, 2008 in Japan and on April 5, 2008 in the United States. Although software must be explicitly coded for vibration effects, software patches were released to implement vibration features in many previously-released PS3 software titles.

Ferari Enzo

The Enzo Ferrari is a 12 cylinder mid-engine berlinetta named after the company's founder, Enzo Ferrari. It was built in 2002 using Formula One technology, such as acarbon-fibre body, F1-style electrohydraulic shift transmission, and Carbon fibre-reinforced Silicon Carbide (C/SiC) ceramic composite disc brakes. Also used are technologies not allowed in F1 such as active aerodynamics and traction control. After a downforce of 775 kg (1,709 lb) is reached at 355.6 km/h (221 mph) the rear wing is actuated by computer to maintain that downforce.

The Enzo's V12 engine is the first of a new generation for Ferrari. It is based on the architecture of the V8 found in sister-company Maserati's Quattroporte, using the same basic architecture and 104 mm (4.1 in) bore spacing. This design will replace the former architectures seen in V12 and V8 engines used in most other contemporary Ferraris. The 2005 F430 is the second Ferrari to get a version of this new powerplant.

The Enzo is a mid-engined car with a 43.9/56.1 front/rear weight distribution. The engine is Ferrari's F140 65° V12 with 4 valves per cylinder,dual overhead cams and variable valve timing. Bosch Motronic ME7 fuel injection is used and the engine is naturally aspirated. It displaces 5998 cc (366 in³) and produces 660 PS (485 kW; 651 hp) at 7800 rpm and 657 N·m (485 lb·ft) at 5500 rpm.^[7] The redline is 8000 rpm.^[8]

Chassis

The Enzo has a semi-automatic transmission (also known as the F1 gearbox) using paddles to control an automated shifting and clutch mechanism, with LED lights on the steering wheel telling the driver when to change gears. The gearbox has a shift time of just 150 milliseconds. The transmission was a first generation "clutchless" design from the late 1990s, and there have been complaints about its abrupt shifting.^[7][9]

The Enzo Ferrari has 4 wheel independent suspension with push-rod actuated shock absorbers which can be adjusted from the cabin, complemented with anti-roll bars at the front and rear.^[10]

The Enzo uses 483-millimetre (19 in) wheels and has 381-millimetre (15 in) Brembo disc brakes. The Enzo uses 19" wheels held by a single lug nut and Bridgestone Potenza Scuderia RE050A tires.^[11]

Performance

The Enzo can accelerate to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.14 (3.1) seconds^[12] and can reach 100 mph (160 km/h) in 6.6 seconds.^[7] The ¼ mile (~400 m) time is 11.0 at 136 mph (219 km/h) and the top speed has been recorded to be as high as 363 kilometres per hour (226 mph).^[13] It is rated at 12 miles per US gallon (20 L/100 km; 14 mpg_-imp) in the city and 18 miles per US gallon (13 L/100 km; 22 mpg_-imp) on the highway.

Despite the Enzo's extraordinary performance and price, the Ferrari 430 Scuderia (an improved version of Ferrari's standard F430 production car) is capable of lapping the Ferrari test track just as quickly as the Enzo.^[14]

Evo magazine tested the Enzo on the famed Nordschleife Circuit and ran a 7:25.21 lap time. The Enzo in the test had a broken electronic damper.
